Maddie Week 8

Now that school is out and camps haven't started yet, we have been keeping ourselves busy! Mom and Sydney volunteered with the future kindergarteners on Prominence Creek at Feed My Starving Children. Then on Saturday the family headed to the zoo. Sunday we went to the Maple Grove pool and the Maple Maze. Monday was Memorial Day and we went up to the Farm and then had the Cassems over for dinner.

Maddie Week 7

Daddy is in Kansas City this week and mom kept busy!

Maddie Week 6

Friday 5/8 - Mother's Day Tea at Sydney's preschool. What a special and fun day. The kids walk the moms in, get pictures taken together and them seat us at a table with decorations they made. They serve us a snack, sing to us, give us flowers and the teachers read us an all about mom sheet the kids made. It was so fun and really, really sweet! 

Saturday 5/9 - Big girls make homemade lemonade and later we walked to the park and have a picnic. That night Maddie slept in her crib for the 1st time and still slept 10-6.

Sunday 5/10 - Today is Mother's Day! Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Rick come down and we have a nice lunch together.

Tuesday 5/12 - Maddie had her 1st intentional smile :) there have been a few others, but today she did it multiple times and we got a picture (it's a little blurry, but oh well).

Wednesday 5/3 - Last day of Pre-K for Sydney. What a big step and fun day! After school many of her friends went to the park for a picnic. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Pat came in to town and then that night we all went out for dinner. Madeline took her nuk for the 1sr time on the way home from dinner and while doing tummy time for the 1st time rolled right on over! 

Thursday 5/4 - Preschool Graduation! Cannot believe that Sydney will be going to Kindergarten next year!!
