Maddie Week 4

 I cannot believe our baby is getting close to a month old! Madeline is such a good baby and we are doing great!

3 Weeks Old

Miss Maddie had a bad spit up episode and we ended up at the doctors office. She is 3 weeks old and now weighs 10lbs 1.5oz (88%), up a pound and an oz in 11 days.

Maddie Week 3

The weather was beautiful and Mommy & Daddy left Madeline for the 1st time with Miss Nina and had a quick lunch date at the golf course. Mom enjoyed having time away with dad and really enjoyed having a glass of wine on the patio on a beautiful day. Sydney and Lexi got to have a sleep over in Sydney's room. On Monday Maddie had her 2nd set of newborn pics taken and she did great!

We did Madeline's newborn pictures with Jodi of Makally Photography and they turned out wonderful! We did the majority at 9 days old and went back for a few more at 17 days  old.

17 Days

Maddie Week 2

We made it through the first week and are doing great! On Saturday Grandma Ruth came down and Daddy, Grandma, Sydney and Lexi went to see Disney's Frozen on Ice. They loved the show and had a great time. That evening Daddy to both the big girls to Ben's birthday party at The Little Gym. On Sunday we had Madeline's pictures with Jodi of Makally Photorraphy and then that evening The Wolfes came to visit. That night Mommy needed to get out of the house and went to Redstone with Lesley for a glass of wine and desert. While mommy was out, daddy have Maddie her 1st bottle (9 days old). She did great! On Monday Madeline went to the doctor for her 2 week checkup. On Tuesday (11 days old), she slept somewhere around 5-1/2 hours straight from 1:00ish to 6:50. Made mom's day :) She had another great night on Wednesday (12 days old), when she went to bed around 10:30, woke up at 2 and then went right back down till 6:30. Keep it up Maddie!!

Madeline Week 1

Our 1st week home from the hospital went very well and we are adjusting to life as a family of 5. Dad has been able to take a little time off and Grandma Ruth stayed a few days to help as well. We are just feeling so blessed! We had Maddie's check up and she is doing great! Jaundice is going away and weight is coming back up!!
