November 2012

We started the month of by heading to Duluth with just Sydney for a quick little get away and to see Disney Live with our princess. We drove up Thursday morning, had lunch at Va Bene and then headed to the hotel for a little nap. We woke up and checked out the water park at our hotel, the Edgewater. It was a great water park, but Sydney needed some warming up to it; as over the little kids area a giant bucket would dump gallons of water out every 5 minutes. We headed to dinner at Blackwoods and then off to see Disney Live at the Deck. It was so fun and Sydney loved it! We finished of the evening with a little DQ and then it was off to bed. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel and then spent all morning in the water park. We packed up, had lunch at Little Angie's, checked out the lift bridge and looked for boats and then it was back home. That same weekend Sydney, Mom, Sophie and Auntie Kimmy went to a Disney pancake breakfast were the girls got all the stars autographs and Sydney at lots of pancakes. At the end of the Month we celebrated Thanksgiving at Amy's parents Farm. Of course the food was amazing and Sydney got to sleep in her own room Grandma Ruth decorated all in pink for her. That weekend when we arrived home we got out the decorations, went and picked out a tree and decorated the house for Christmas. Sydney had so much fun helping and did a great job. We also went to the German Christmas Market in Excelsior and rode the Trolley to see Santa.

Lexi's new tricks:
  •  Her molars are coming in
  • She can open all the lever doors
  • New signs: daddy, puppy, all done
Sydney's sayings:
  • Out of the blue one morning Sydney blurted out Mommies phone number. We had no idea she knew it as we didn't teach it to her, she just picked it from hearing Amy leave messages for other people.
  • Sydney sings Hush, Little Baby, but instead of Mocking bird, she sings Napkin Bird :)
