42 Weeks

This week we went to the Pool, Lexi learned to do "So Big" and to fake laugh/cough, she is really walking a lot now and Josh's friend Kevin was in town.

Sydney 2-1/2!

 Where does the time go? Sydney has grown in to the smartest, cutest, sweetest little girl. She is so verbal and loves to learn. She loves her sister, puppies, being outside, music and baby dolls. We have loved every minute of the last 2-1/2 years and are so excited to continue to see her grow and develop.

41 weeks

Not much out of the ordinary this week in terms of activities, but big news in terms of firsts! Lexi's took her 1st step!!! After dinner on Sunday 7/15/12 she took one step from the couch Mom was on to the adjacent couch. Yay Lexi!! She also started pointing, took more steps and said her 1st word... Mamamama (and meant it). We worked hard on making sure that was her first word, as Dada was Sydney's ;)  All this newness must have made her tired as she slept until 8:30 on Saturday.

40 Weeks

Grandma and Papa Smith were in town for an entire week. We had beautiful weather and got to spend a great week together. We got to get out on the boat, celebrated Grandpa Rick's birthday, and Great Uncle Mike also was in town for work and got to stay with for a few days.

39 Weeks

The girls gave been fighting a nasty summer bug, so this week was pretty low-key and mostly about mom and dad. Amy went out to lunch and to see a movie with friends on Sunday, Tuesday Amy had a surprise party where cat and Molly ended up being the real surprise, Thursday Amy meet the girls for lunch, Friday Josh and Amy went out on the boat with friends and Saturday we went to the basilica block party.

The Forbes' had their annual 4th of July pool party which was hot and fun!This year was the hottest 4th I can recall! It was pretty much essential to be in the shade in the pool at all times. We ate, hung out with great friends and had a wonderful time.

Alexis - 9 months!

Lexi is learning and growing up so fast. She clearly knows when she is about to get in trouble and tries to quickly scurry away, she loves to "share" by placing her food in your hand so you can then give it back to her and unfortunately she is more aware of mom leaving her and has a harder time going to sleep.

She is taking a morning and afternoon nap, starting to eat mainly finger goods and loves her sippy cup.

Weight: 18 lbs 15 oz (52.5% percentile)
Head Circumference: 17-1/2" (64.5% percentile)
