38 Weeks

We are keeping busy this summer that is for sure!! This week we went to the Children's Museum on Monday with our friends from school, we started a music class on Tuesday, went to the splash pad with Bonnie and Wyatt on Wednesday, Lexi had an audition for Target on Thursday and we took Sydney out on the boat on Friday afternoon for the 1st time this year. Sydney had so much fun at all the activities and Lexi was a good sport!

Sydney's fun fact of the week is she had her first total melt down when Mommy tried to leave. She was crying and begging "Mommy please don't go". It is so unlike her and she was so convincing it was very hard to see.

Lexi's fun fact is way more upbeat... she is almost walking! Take a look at the video below and you can see her go from one end of the couch to the other almost running and letting go.

37 Weeks

Summer time is in full swing and we are as busy as ever! On Sunday we headed up to the farm to celebrate Father's day. We had lunch and Sydney got to spend time helping feed the chickens and kitty's. She also had her first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's and had so much fun! On Wednesday the weather was bad so instead of going to the park we had a play date at our house and on Thursday Sydney had her 1st dentist appointment and after we met Auntie Kimmy, Ben and Sophie for lunch at Red Robin.

At the dentist office they were asking her who her favorite princess was and then Mommy asked "who's your favorite prince?" and Sydney replied "Daddy!"

Two weeks ago on Sunday we went to the neighborhood pool with both girls for the first time, Monday was Memorial Day and Grandma Ruth came down to watch the girls so Mommy and Daddy could go out on the boat and on Tuesday night we had dinner at Travail with Jacey and Ryan. With Summer starting we had our last gymnastics class and started our weekly park play dates.
