7 Weeks Old

It was so nice to have daddy home all week and not working as much. We headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Stahl's farm on Wednesday to celebrate Thanksgiving. Mom ventured out with Auntie Kimmy Thanksgiving night to get a head start on the Black Friday shopping and little Lexi decided to sleep through the night. All the traveling and turkey must have worn her out as she went to bed a little after 8 and didn't wake up till after 7am. Of course mom was up multiple times worrying and waiting, but it was nice to get some extra sleep with being up late for the big shopping excursion. Friday we went and got the Christmas tree and spent most of the day Saturday decorating the house and baking cookies.

Smiles!!

Sydney - 22 Months Old!

Sydney is quite the character these days and really keeps us entertained. She loves to sing, count, say her ABC's, repeat anything mom or dad says and give Alexis lots and lots of kisses. She started potty training a week ago and is doing really well. Every time after she goes she yells "Yay Sydney!" Lately she is getting quite sassy... for example this week when eating dinner and mom and dad are talking she will say "No! No talk!" if she is not being included in the conversation. She also told mom the other day to "Look at me!" and then said "Milk please". When you walk in her room in the morning she very casually says "Hey Mom", like it's just no big deal. Often when you read her books lately she will tell you "No read" as she wants to tell you what is going on in the pictures rather than you read. We just love to watch her grow and learn more and more every month.

6 Weeks Old

Time is just flying by and we cannot believe next week is Thanksgiving already. This week the Koehnen's came over for dinner and Sydney and Jack had a little smooch goodbye. Daddy was gone traveling again this week and the girls spent some quality time together eating mommies favorite cookies, we went to Sophie's B-day party at Pump it Up and the biggest news of all we started potty training Sydney. It was a rough start and we almost gave up, but by day 3 Sydney was doing great!

5 Weeks Old

So after sleeping 6 hours straight for the first time this week, Lexi made Mommy so happy (Daddy was traveling for work) and slept for over 8 hours just two days later!! Yay Lexi!! Auntie Kimmy watched Lexi for the first time on Tuesday so Mom could go to the gym and Grandma Ruth watched her for a few hours on Wednesday so Mom could go get a message :) On Saturday Sydney went and watched Ben bowling with the Pietrzaks, while Daddy stayed at home with Lexi so Mommy could go bridesmaid dress shopping for Jacey's wedding. Other than that we didn't have much going on and had a pretty low key week... hence the lack of pictures :(

We had such a busy weekend and beginning of the week with Halloween, we decided to lay low the rest of the week. Amy's friend Barbara came by to visit, Lexi & Mommy visited the chiropractor for the first time and Amy had her check up at the doctors. Here are some pictures:
