September 2011

With September here we are getting back in to the swing of things. Swim lessons, ECFE, neighborhood play group, Monday morning coffee's and a lot of "Fall Cleaning". We have been busy getting the house ready for the new baby and trying to feel as ready as possible. We have been spending as much time outside as possible before it gets cold and trying to fit in a few fun family days with just the three of us... Our favorite was our yearly trip to the apple orchard!

20 Months Old!

Sydney is growing up so fast! She is more and more fun everyday and we are amazed at all she knows and does. Since we haven't given an update in quite some time I figured I would jot a few things down that she is up to. Sydney loves books and can listen to stories for hours! She is also newly into Disney movies thanks to Daddy... Aladdin is her favorite. She loves to sing and dance and seeing her do the hokie pokie is moms favorite. She knows all her colors and can count to 10. She can spell her name, but normally doesn't say the S and then spits out NEY quickly in one breath. One day at dinner Sydney said "Hola soy Dora". She learned it from a kids app on Josh's iPhone and now says Hola instead of Hello from time to time and says "Hola soy Sydney". She also loves to color, go to the park and play with her babies dolls.
