39 Weeks

What a busy week I had! First off mom changed my nap schedule from 3 to 2 naps per day and moved my bed time back 15 minutes. At first I loved it and was sleeping from 8:15 PM to 8 AM, but then I slowly started falling back into my normal wake up time of 6 AM, which mom didn't seem too pleased about. Wednesday was our Halloween party at ECFE which was a blast to see all my friends dress up. Thursday Mom and Dad when to the Maroon 5 concert with Jenny and Eric. I heard they got to meet the band backstage before the concert and I'm guessing they had a great time as they decided to stay downtown over night. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Pat watched me and that was the first night mom wasn't home with me. She seemed a little worried, but I was totally fine with it. Saturday Mom and Aunt Lesley had a Halloween party and I got to dress up again. I don't think I had a scary costume on, but my friend Jack seemed pretty upset whenever I would go over to say hi. That night Grandma Ruth came down to watch me and everyone else went to go see the Buckeyes beat, I mean play, the U of M. On Sunday it was Halloween and our neighborhood had a big Halloween parade and then that night a bunch of kids stopped by our house to get candy. Mom didn't let me go Trick or Treating this year, but said I could next year... I can't wait!!

9 months old

Once again we are just amazed how fast time has gone by and that in three months our little princess will be 1. It is just so much fun to watch her growing and changing everyday. She keeps us on our toes daily and we are having a blast seeing her become her own little person with lots of determination and independence (or perhaps attitude)... no idea where she gets that from ;)

37 & 38 Weeks

Once again Mommy is a little behind, but truly we haven't been up to too much these past few weeks. I have been working on walking and can take about 6-8 steps at once, I can change directions and can almost come to standing without any help. Here are some pictures and videos from the last two weeks.

36 Weeks & Walking!

Last week was a big step... wink, wink ;) I took my 1st Step on Monday, October 10th, 2010. Mommy and I were playing downstairs and I was holding on to the couch, behind me I saw my favorite new toy, a musical table; I turned around and took two steps from the couch to the table. That same day I decided to show off to Daddy and took a few steps for him so he didn't feel left out.

We also took the boat out for the last time this season on Friday. Dad warned me not to get used to this type of weather in October as last year it snowed they day Mom & Dad moved into the house, but it was a beautiful day and set a record high.

On Sunday it was my BFF Jack's dedication. We went to church in the morning and I hung out with some friends in the infant room. After the service we went back to Jack's house and that night we hung out at the pool during swimming lessons.

Look! I'm flying!!

35 Weeks

Last week was a busy week for everyone. Mommy took a night time photo tour, Daddy was traveling, my new Nanny started, Mom went to see Erin before the new baby arrives and we went to both the Como Zoo and the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend.

New This Week:
  • I have mastered grabbing food with my fingers and feeding myself. My favorites are puffs!
  • This week at swimming lessons I started jumping into the water by myself. I sit on the ledge, lean forward and jump into the water where Mommy or Daddy catches me after a quick dunk in the water.
Here are a few of the pictures of Minneapolis Mom took on her photo tour:
