34 Weeks

Last week I started ECFE again and Mommy said we get to go all year this time. It's so fun to play with new toys, all my little friends and the other mommies. We also went to Mom's In Step last week at church.

New This Week:
I have mastered standing on my own! I get so excited when I do it, I normally give myself a little round of applause.
I have also started smacking my mouth and making a loud noise.

8 Months Old!

It's hard to believe that another month has gone by. It seems like I was just posting her 7 month old pictures and now here we are a month later. The past month has been really fun with starting swimming lessons, a new playgroup in our neighborhood and ECFE again.

I bet you can't guess who picked out Sydney's outfit for the day...

33 Weeks

New This Week:

• Last week I really started cruising. I can walk holding on to my toys, the couch, tables... anything that is low enough for me to grab on to. I also have mastered the art of moving from one object to the next!

• I have also really started showing my parents the range of my voice. Daddy says I need to learn volume control, but I just really like to yell at the top of my lungs at more or less all times. I think it's neat to hear myself ;)

Last week Mommy & me went to the first neighborhood coffee of the year, Daddy & Mommy went to the DMB concert with Pat & Lesley while Grandma came down to watch me, then on Sunday we went to the apple orchard and swimming lessons. Here are some pictures from the week:

32 Weeks

Last week Mommy went to the fair and didn't bring me :( Daddy said next year I get to go and try the cheese curds. We also went out on the boat (perhaps the last time of the season) and I took my very first swimming class.

New This Week:

• Walking while holding on... Mom was pretty impressed when I walked from one end of my crib to the other
• Last week I started getting kinda nervous when Mom tried to hand me off to "strangers" or even Grandma sometime - Along with that I really have got saying "Mamamama" down

31 Weeks & A Trip to the N Shore

Last week Mommy and Daddy took me on my first road trip. We ventured away from the comforts of home and headed up to the North Shore of MN. We left on Sunday and took most of the day driving to Grand Marais. On the way up we stopped at Tobies in Hinkley to get caramel rolls and to go hiking at Gooseberry falls. On Sunday night we walked around town and had dinner at Sven and Ole's. On Monday we walked out to Artist Point, hiked to Devils Kettle and that night we had a great dinner at The Crooked Spoon and desert at Sydney's Frozen Custard. On Tuesday we grabbed breakfast from "The World's Best Donuts" before we heading to Duluth. We were supposed to stop at Split Rock Lighthouse, but Dad forgot and Mom wasn't paying attention. We met Grandma and Grandpa Stahl in Duluth and walked around Canal Park during the afternoon. Grandma and Grandpa watched me that night while Mom & Dad went to dinner for their anniversary at The New Scenic Cafe. On Wednesday we drove over to Wisconsin Point in Superior in the morning. That afternoon Grandma and Grandpa watched me again while Mom & Dad walked to Fitgers to have lunch at The Brewhouse and grab a malt at the Portland Malt Shop. After lunch I hung out with Grandma some more and Grandpa, Dad and Mom went on a tour of The Lake Superior Brewing Company. That night we all went out to dinner at Blackwoods. After breakfast Mom took us on a tour of where she lived in college and showed us around UMD and then we drove home.
